I am a child, adolescent and adult Psychotherapist trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF). I have an extensive background in mental health settings within the NHS. I worked in the eating disorders team at Great Ormond Street Hospital and in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) at St Ann’s and North Middlesex Hospitals.

I have a special interest in adolescent mental health problems, having worked in the Adolescent Department at the Tavistock in London for over 10 years. I have worked with a variety of adolescent pathologies, ranging from depression, eating disorders, deliberate self-harm, anxieties and compulsive behaviours. Alongside clinical work with adolescents and young adults, I provided supervision and teaching to other professionals and child psychotherapy trainees.

I bring the breadth of many years in the NHS to my private practice, where I work with children, adolescents and adults. Although I now work full-time in Queen Anne Street, I have kept a teaching role at the Tavistock where I run a weekly workshop on adolescents, which is one of the modules of the child psychotherapy training.

I offer both short and long-term treatments for a variety of clinical presentations, including depression, anxiety, attachment issues and personality difficulties. Although psychodynamic psychotherapy underpins my clinical practice, I have experience with a variety of therapeutic methods. I trained in Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT), I am also a qualified practitioner in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), a 16-session psychodynamic intervention for the treatment of anxiety and depression.

I am an active member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) and a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
