We offer specialist support young people with a very wide range of needs, from those experiencing newly emerging psychological or developmental difficulties, to those with complex and longstanding mental health histories. The work begins with a thorough assessment, which allows an individual a chance to form their own impression of the therapy offered. With the permission of a very young adult, some practitioner may share the agreed care plan with parents.
Psychotherapy can be on a one-to-one basis, or there is a dedicated psychotherapy group for young adults. Both approaches provide a supportive and realistic foundation for adult life. When difficulties are adequately addressed at this critical stage, they need not become unnecessarily compounded in future years.
It is possible for sessions to take place online, when a young person is studying elsewhere.
