I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and I work with couples and individuals who are experiencing relationship difficulties.

Individual therapy can help to foster a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you by exploring the root causes of some of your difficulties. It can be helpful and rewarding process for anyone wishing to develop greater self-awareness and a better understanding of their relationships, both past and present.

Couple therapy offers the opportunity to identify and explore repeating patterns that feel hurtful or destructive. It may also help you to establish new ways of relating that feel more fulfilling and productive. Insights gained from the therapy might lead to a new sense of emotional intimacy and create shared meaning from past experiences – helping you to make sense of challenges together rather than apart.

Alongside my private practice, I am a visiting clinician at Tavistock Relationships, where I see individuals and couples. I have presented and published academic work on intergenerational trauma, intimate partner violence, and the role of musicality in early infant-caregiver communication.

I also hold a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science. I worked in the City for over a decade and I am familiar with the challenges that can come up in corporate settings. I am fluent in German, Spanish and Portuguese.

If you would like to explore working together, please contact me by email. I will respond promptly to arrange an initial consultation, so that we can think together about your concerns and how therapy might best support you.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
