I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in children and young people. I work with the Queen Anne Street Practice and the paediatric psychology team at University College Hospital London.
When working with babies and toddlers, I specialise in sleep. When working with toddlers and young children, I have a particular interest in Gastrointestinal symptoms. This includes difficulties potty training and a ‘fear of pooing’. I am also the co-founder of That’s Me, a website which lets you create personalised children’s books about their significant milestones.
When working with adolescents, I have experience in providing psychological interventions for; anxiety, depression, phobias, self-esteem, behaviour experienced as challenging, relationship issues and school/exam issues. My particular expertise is working with young people who have been diagnosed with health conditions, learning difficulties and Autism. I am is trained in the administration of neurological cognitive assessments and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2.
I have 10 years experience working in mental and physical health services within the NHS. I completed an MSc in Child Development at University College London and a Clinical Doctorate at the University of East London. My doctoral thesis focused on paediatric psychology with rare developmental health disorders at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
