Dr Bradley Hillier

I am an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist based in London and Jersey. I have been practicing medicine and psychiatry for over 20 years, during which I have developed extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and mental health problems.

I understand how the decision to see a psychiatrist can be very difficult both for the individual seeking help, and for those close to them. My approach to the treatment of mental health conditions involves undertaking an initial thorough and sensitive psychiatric assessment. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, confidential partnership with my clients, that is free from judgement and focused on recovery.

I am a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists  and was made a Fellow in 2020 in recognition of my contribution to the field of Psychiatry.

– Substance use and addictive behaviours
– Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
– Neurodevelopmental disorders (such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD; and Autism Spectrum Condition/ Disorder.

– Specialist experience in minority stress, and the mental health of members of the LGBTQI+ community

As well as my clinical practice I hold (or have held) a number of national and international roles, including being an expert advisor to the United Nations in Mental Health and Vice-Chair of the London Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. I am a recognised national expert within the legal system, preparing expert psychiatric reports in criminal proceedings and civil and family proceedings.
